Harry Ross

Inspired by the whimsical and creative lines of such famous buildings as Frank Lloyd Wright’s Falling Water and the Storybook homes of the European countryside, I see beauty in the harmony between people and nature. A lifetime gardener, my passion evolved into woodworking as a pastime during the cold Pennsylvania winters. A mere hobby that quickly became a defining aspect of my life. Today I build custom, handmade, birdhouses that pay tribute to the styles and forms that satisfy my artistic appetite. From the low-pitched gable roofs and elegant masonry and stonework of the Tudor homes in the Northeast – inspiration is never far away. Some may say my work is “for the birds “ but I say, “why not extend style to the simple things in our lives?”
