If you are thinking of applying, you need to hurry as the deadline is coming right up.
Here below is a message from Sylvia Rhor, Director and Curator of the University Art Gallery (UAG) at the University of Pittsburgh, regarding a submission call.
Pitt is organizing an outdoor exhibition on the lawn of the Cathedral of Learning in September 2021. The exhibition focuses on Black Lives Matter and is open to artists in SWPA and Pitt alum, faculty, staff and students.
Two important points: Submissions do not need to be of new work, and the selected works will be reproduced on large panels, so no original works will be displayed. A selection committee will determine the final selection, and artists receive $500 for each selected work (they can submit up to 3 works for consideration).
