Lisa Platt, native of Pittsburgh Pennsylvania is a self taught mixed media sculptor. Currently her works consist of one of a kind Mosaics created with hand formed clay tiles, stained glass, found and recycled objects.
“My work is a whimsical and joyful celebration of life representing my magnetism in relation to nature and the people who are integral in my life.
My intentions are to share my playful spirit by providing a bit of amusement to those who encounter my creations”.
Several of Platt’s works are exhibited in Pittsburgh places that include the Pittsburgh Zoo and PPG Aquarium, the Pittsburgh Center for the Arts, Carnegie Mellon University, the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Children’s Hospital, the Shadyside Presbyterian Church, Phipps Conservatory and private collections.
