Jeffrey Moyer has been a fulltime artist in Western Pennsylvania since 1984, working in several principal media: watercolor, kiln-formed glass, stained glass, garden/landscape design, as well as some writing. His primary medium in recent years has been kiln-formed glass, for which he has developed methodologies to infuse glass art with the sensibilities and qualities of watercolor painting.
Jeffrey has exhibited work at numerous shows, galleries, colleges and universities, both regionally and nationally. He is co-founder of the Annual Art Show at the Century Inn, which recently celebrated its 25th anniversary. He has also been a presenter/instructor for CCAC, the Master Gardeners’ Association, the Touchstone Center for Crafts, as well as other organizations. He is currently a member of the Craftsmen’s Guild of Pittsburgh and is also a member of the Pittsburgh Society of Artists, and was affiliated in the past with the Associated Artists of Pittsburgh and the Pittsburgh Watercolor Society. Jeffrey was nominated for Pittsburgh Center for the Arts Artist of the Year, 2014, and also for 2015.
